Been wanting a crop sensor camera (have a D780 and D3s) for a bit more reach, since I wld much rather shoot with my 70-200 vs the HEAVY 120-300 Sigma.

This thing is no joke.......the autofocus is lightning quick, the images are super sharp, and am impressed with the high ISO performance.   Have only had it for a day to mess with, but am super impressed with it.  The round trip 4.5 hour trip to go get it was worth it.

4700 shutter clicks one owner camera.

It also came with all of this stuff.    $650 for everything.

Sweet deal. I have it's big brother the D5. The lack of an AA filter on the D500, though gives it an edge in sharper images.

That's a screaming deal, congrats  Pair it with some 300mm or 500mm PF lenses and you have a monster for wildlife or aircraft.

Great deal!

Now all you need to do is program the functions to make shooting easy and fun.

You mean something like this. The lens on the camera is a 35mm prime 1:1.4G

That's some serious glass.    😮😮     I do have a 300mm Tokina f/2.8 and Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8, but for how I like to shoot, I'm happier with my 70-200 G2.     Heavy lenses are just........heavy.     😅

Great deal. ETA: I have a Nikon D7500 and D500, the D7500 outperforms the D500 in extremely lowly light conditions for taking photos. The D500 will hunt and sometimes it sometimes can't find the focus,  and it is set only when the image is in focus, does the shutter release, and more than a few times, I had to give up; BUT my D7500 comes through with flying colors. And sometimes with flash the D500 either gives under- or over-images, so take multiple images with the D500 if you can.
