I bought one of these years ago and rarely used it. It has a great following and gets all sorts of praises.

I never thought it was that great sounding of an amp. To my ears it just wasn't much. I prefer Fender amps but my go-to practice amp is the Roland Cube 80xl.

Now ignoring that I am a very poor player and strictly hobbyist level, what am I missing? Everyone else can't be wrong, that's for sure.

I'm not familiar with that model, is that one you have to dime to get anything nice out of?  Or might not like super hot pickups?
