Being poor,  I keep the Styrofoam coolers that come with frozen deliveries.  I tend to use them for transporting groceries and such.  A few of them have gotten holes over time and although I don't pack wet food, the ice bags tend to leak.
Any issues with coating the inside with something like flex seal?
Thanks

For the price of flex seal, you can buy a replacement.

Most retailers are clearance pricing summer stuff like coolers.

For $4 more than a can of flex seal I bought an actual cooler from Family Dollar. It holds a 12pk of soda and bag of ice, probably more.

I already have a can of it.
But I will definitely check the local dollar stores.
I need to come to terms with throwing shit away. Goes all the way back to my parents.

Their website says it can be used on the inside of rain barrels and is safe after drying, but has not been approved for use around foods

Flex seal dissolves Styrofoam. You may not be satisfied with the resutls of a larger hole.

Ok well, that solves that issue.

Nothing wrong with being frugal.  I have an Igloo lunchbox cooler I bought in the 1980's.    I has been to Hell and back, is sun-faded, and has fallen out of both a Jeep and a lumber truck, but it still keeps my lunch cold.

Maybe stop by some yard sales, I scored a once used camp stove still in the box for $10.
