I got invited to a Bourbon party tomorrow night and the invite said to bring a "light hors d'oeuvre". I have absolutely NO idea about hors d'oeuvre's and haven't got a clue what would be good to bring that would be good with bourbon. Any suggestions??? |

A coochie board or if you like a cut up summer sausage with Triscuits, some cheddar, and maybe a nice salty, hard, white cheese. I don’t know my cheeses, I just know the Yugos have a soft one and a hard one. I prefer it hard. Yes, all of that is intentional, but still true. |

I'd never tried the whiskey/chocolate pairing thing until we found this Chocobar joint in San Juan. I was impressed.  Walnuts and pecans go well, as mentioned. |
