Looking at the hybrid, probably an XLT. They can be had for around $30,000 in my area and i’d be paying cash (well, a trade in covering the full amount and more). Anyone own one with a family of four? Got a 5 year old with a baby on the way. My commute is 18 miles each way and I avoid the I40. Back roads are 45-50mph of pleasant cruising and a couple of traffic lights. In my 1500 3.0 I usually get 29mpg. Looking at the quoted figures that the Maverick gives, I’d be looking at closer to the mid 40’s. Also could be used as a school run vehicle. My wife does it currently in a Bronco and she gets somewhere close to 8mpg

It’s basically a gen 2 Prius with a ford truck ish body. Over all I like it with regular @ $6:50 a gallon right now. |

I get 45 mpg currently, drops to 39 when it's colder I assume due to battery. Fits 4 adults comfortably but I've never transported "average weight" Americans. With the factory roll cover plywood just fits. Holds a whole gutted only mule deer buck just barely. Great all-purpose vehicle. If I need a big truck I have one. Hate spending $100 just to get to a trailhead and back. No idea why the self-appointed stylistas think their opinions are valid. |

Probably the best commuter family dad vehicle around. Good for quick HD trips, getting to work and back, and just big enough to move the family to practice/game and back. That said, the near $40k they wanted for the AWD is a bit much whe ln they first came out and there was a wait. I hope there are some incentives. |

Luckily I have glass coverage, not even a deductible to have replaced by Safelite, once they ordered the correct windshield (Ford Acoustic). Second replacement was earlier this year - another rock or road debris; small impact that Safelite tried to repair but had to replace when it didn't help. Lots of other people online complaining about it as well... |

I don't have any experience with them but there are a shit load of them around here. A few days ago I was walking past one and looked at the back seat through the window and it looked really tight, I would want to make sure a car seat would fit back there before buying one. |

Sold it three months ago when I moved to Mexico. I enjoyed the vehicle while I had it. Reasonably comfortable. Easy to park. Decent gas mileage, though I don't think I ever averaged 40mpg. More like 34-35 mpg with my driving style, which basically paid no attention to fuel mileage. I think I had people sitting in the back seat ONCE. 99.87% of the time it was just me or one other person. I don't think the people you stuff in the back are going to enjoy being back there. Maybe kids wouldn't mind, but it doesn't seem ideal. Worst thing: That damn ipad like control center. It absolutely sucks having to use hard to see lights and an LCD screen to do adjust the HVAC and other things that ought to be knobs. BTW, the hybrid system works pretty well. It's not as nice as the Toyota Camry hybrid we used to own, but probably better than the Honda CRV hybrid we owned. I can't imagine buying a new commuter/daily driver vehicle that wasn't a hybrid. We sold our vehicles when we moved out of the U.S. but if I were to move back and decided to buy vehicles, I would definitely consider another Maverick. |

Company vehicle is a 2023 base model Maverik with 130xxx miles so far. Tire pressure sensor light just came on the other day. Oil, gas, tires and a set of brakes. Zero issues otherwise |
