Truly a sight to behold. A man beaten. The once great champ, now, a study in moppishness.

I first saw this on VHS, (and bootlegged to betamax), while stuck in the barracks on a duty section weekend. |

It is heartwarming to be amongst these jolly men that recall all the great lines of this 80's cult classic.
Fun fact, John Cusack thought he was auditioning for a serious movie and was pissed off when later found out it was a comedy. I guess his reading comprehension sucks |

Started delivering newspapers at age 8. 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You could get the paper delivered for $.55 a week when I started. Sunday only was $.25 a week. Had a rural tube route in college. Cleared about $70 a week. Tuition at Rochester Institute of Technology was $1,650 a year. My rural route was also 7 days a week. Had to get up at 04:00 every day to deliver it. Saturday night was spent "assembling" all the supplements that went into the Sunday morning paper. Then there was the paperwork associated with running my "business". Billing, collecting customer lists etc.
Did I mention that I was not a party animal while in college? |
