Deep state strikes again.

Her office said that she suffered a fracture in her back, several broken ribs and other injuries that required surgery including the removal of part of her small intestine and a portion of her colon.

“Additionally, the main artery in her legs has a partial collapse and will require a stint,” the statement said. “Additional surgeries will be required including one likely today; and it is likely that Katie will remain hospitalized for the next two weeks.”

Arrington’s shock primary win over Sanford made national headlines as a rebuke of Sanford’s “Never Trump”-style rhetoric and his career bedeviled by scandal.

If one had their heart set on claiming that this was a 'deep state conspiracy', one would need to ascertain whether the car that hit them had any of the new computerized 'stay in your lane' steering or 'autonomous computerized steering'...which could be hacked remotely and used to nefariously steer it into her lane.

Personally, I'm glad my mind doesn't work that way......

A while ago a lady was killed and her toddler seriously injured when a drunk idiot started driving the wrong way on the highway and hit her head on.

Doesn't say who the other driver was, just that he died at the scene. Odds are he was just another drunk driver. Wouldn't surprise me to find out that he was an illegal, but I wouldn't bet on it, either.

There have been a whole bunch of vehicle incidents with politicians the last 2 years - one resulting in charges, one that the feds let walk despite a complete bullshit explanation, and several that were dodgy but with an element of deniability.

I would not be surprised at all if this was a deliberate attack.
