As I get older I have begun to think more about pre-season fitness so I can avoid injury. Our golf season is short up here and I don't want to waste it doing rehab! What do you guys do for physical conditioning? I'm thinking more at home exercise since I'm not a gym kind of person, and if I were, I'd have to drive a half hour to get to one.

But I have found not lifting during golf season means I am a better ball striker and hit further. Maybe I am too old and run down to handle both at the same time?
I've been into Olympic weightlifting for years, so need a platform.
But with a 300# barbell set, some type of rack or stands and a strength training program 3 days a week will keep you in better shape than most the population year around.
I'm not fat or in particularly bad shape. The issue I'm concerned about is that up here where the snow flies, I have no activities that work the same muscles that are used in golf for about half the year. All that rotational stuff.
I'm going to work with resistance bands and see what results I get.
