Greetings, first time finding this forum. Last month all of my Guinness extra stout was produced in Dublin. Now the package changed and it is now made in some place in Pennsylvania. This stuff is absolute garbage and not the same stuff from Ireland. My state has weird rules and is controlled by the state booze people commission or something. Has anyone found real Guinness extra stout in their AO? Is there some kind of embargo to keep the real stuff from hitting the store shelves? This new stuff I thought I bought skunked beer. Opened up 3 random cases and they were all sheite. I poured them all out. I miss my old Guinness extra stout from Ireland. Im not even Irish... Has proper Guinness extra stout been removed from this country? |

The real stouts come from America and they are barrel aged in bourbon and come in at 14%+, don’t drink that bull shit from Ireland. So many micro breweries making amazing stouts all across the US, try some, you will be hooked. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Are you sure you're not confusing the stout with the draught? |

I’ve tried hard to like Guinness, any/all variants, and I just can’t. Too thin/watery and tasteless. Any of the other “widget equipped” ales (like Boddington’s, Smithwick’s, Murphy’s, etc.) are IMO better. |

I think I've had enough beer to know the skunked taste and it's not that.
