I have been enlisted to help sell these two bikes for a family member. These are being sold to pay for her husbands medical bills. He will never be able to ride again. He is not and will not be in any condition to tell her what they are or what has been done to them, if anything. While I have much motorcycling experience, I do not know anything about Harley Davidson motorcycles. They have both been stored indoors under covers at all times. I have replaced the batteries and both started immediately. I have test ridden both and can't find any issues with them at all. The tires are aged out and will need to be replaced by the buyer, although they felt fine and I would personally run them until winter. Can anyone tell me selling points and or an approximate value to list these motorcycles for sale. What’s my bike worth (HD dealer) You can ride them by the dealer and ask or ask on line then figure add a thousand or so is retail . Look in local Craigslist. This is the time of year to get them listed on Craigslist. I don’t see a lot of custom add ons (sissy bar, plexiglass windshield) Look at the Title . |

I had checked on facebook marketplace, but it seems that there were different types of dynas and wasn't sure if the anniversary edition changed the value of the sportster. Pricing seemed to be all over the place. Again, I don't know Harley Davidsons, so appreciate your tips. |

Looks like $5200-$9000 or so around a 10 year span. There’s a nice 2016 with 7200 miles for $8500. I’d probably take $1000 off the top assuming they’ve been sitting. Tires, service, filters, etc. |

The little 883 sporty is gonna be a tough sell. The other one I agree should pull 7K+ I'd start high. Like 8.5k Easier to come down then go up on price. The sportster is considdered a begginers or chicks bike with the 883 it's currently the smallest HD engine produced now. Try 5K and see. If you get zero response in 5 days you can come down. There are also bike sites that are just like auto trader. They help for guys looking to buy,just a bike since it's all they list and can have the search really narrowed. But ya never know both bikes are very clean and the less aftermarket crap the more value they have. I'm not seeing a bunch of HD tapco crap on it. Commonly made by a company called " DRAG SPECIALTIES "aftermarket stuff. Good luck with the sale. |
