The US has not done so well in the last 70 with allies either.
So it’s more about the will to win and engage in total war, no matter who’s on your side. |

We'll always use allies and assets. But most of the "wars" we get involved in are intended to "assist" someone else. So it's their war to lose.

Yes, but we quit winning wars when we decided to win hearts and minds instead of putting bullets in them. You win the hearts and minds after you have achieved total victory by being merciful victors.
