I’ve seen them recommended a few times in GD and even in the watch sub forum. They seem to have brand new watches for like 30 percent off. What’s the catch here?

Yes, they are dependable. They are gray market, which means they sell 100% authentic watches at extremely high volume, but they are not "authorized dealers" for most brands. As a result they don't have to abide by normal MSRP price fixing, and in turn can't offer the manufacturer's warranty. You get a Jomashop warranty for most brands instead.

Yes. Dependable and good to go.

I’ve ordered several watches from them over the years without issues (I’ve never had to use their warranty or deal with their customer service though.)

I bought a Tudor from Jomashop for a great price that I used a coupon code for and got an even better price. It took forever to ship, but I did receive a brand new and authentic Tudor watch for cheaper than anywhere else on the internet.

That’s great. They’ve got watches I want for quite a bit of money off MSRP

Yup. Get on their email list and watch for sales/coupons.

I used them for a watch that was around $6,000 at retail and paid slightly over $4,500 for it after tax. If you aren't tied to a factory warranty it is a pretty decent deal. My purchase was on a new watch, I can't speak to their used pieces.

Yes, I've bought a couple of watches from them with no problems.
The only thing I would be wary about is the quality of their watchmaking, especially with non ETA/Sellita movements. The possibility of buying a $6000 retail Omega that breaks during what would have been the warranty period if I had bought from an AD, and having to send it back to Jomashop for repairs, gives me pause to say the least. |

View Quote Valid point, I tend to stick with watches that use ETA/Sellita movements because they ubiquitous and easily repaired or replaced if out of warranty. |

Absolutely about ten times.
The worst that has happened is they have refunded one order when the watch was out of stock and listed as still in stock. And a watch ordered on a Friday night took like five days to ship then hung up on a holiday weekend. |

View Quote The watch might not be under warranty. IIRC the “catch” really is that stores are supposed to sell at specific prices, but sometimes they gotta offload items that just aren’t selling at that price. Or it may be that stores have to pay stock fees to their headquarters on items that have sat on the shelf too long. I used this site to get myself a Citizen watch at about half price or so. It’s not the latest etc but it looked the way I liked and does what I want. And to keep it “charged” I just leave it out overnight under the stove light. |

I had one of my watches stuffed in a bag for a month or so, while getting ready to move overseas. Pulled it out after the trip and it didn't miss a beat. |

It was between the black with the gold hands and the blue but for whatever reason I’ve always loved blue dial watches so went with that. First GMT I’ve ever bought |

I’ll probably get the green and black aquaracer late next year early ‘26 then start saving for a Rolex for my 40th birthday. |
