I am just finishing up some Colonel Conk bay rum.  I'm looking for something different.  It was ok, but dried out too quick.  Something not too expensive and will be primarily for my head.  If it matters, I use a Merkur 34c.

Thanks

Shave my head with one of these. Works just fine for me using a Gillette slim adjustable.

Yes, Mr. Pepper semlls like Dr. pepper. The one with no name is a leather scent like a leather shop Attachment Attached File
or western store.

For easy lather try out a shave stick.  Arko if you can stand the scent, La Toja if you want something a little less pungent.  If you don’t like it you’re only out a few bucks depending on where you ordered from.  Amazon is great for that, if you’re willing to shop there.

I've got about 6 or so soaps on hand.
I almost always use these 2.

My favorite is tallow based, Lather&Wood Bay Rum, that comes in a metal tin.
Proraso green in tube is very refreshing but not tallow based.

I use very hot (microwaved) water to soak brush in.
I use a soap mixing bowl for the Proraso
I use just the wet brush on the tallow based.

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements (PAA) Boomtown Bay Rum is my go-to for the soap, after-shave and splash for both head and face... use Leaf and Twig razors with Permasharp bladesAttachment Attached File
