I'm the VP of a local homebrewers guild.  4 years ago, we had a homebrew store and a thriving community.  Probably 20 people a meeting, tons of brewing, compititions.  

After COVID, the homebrew store closed, no one wanted to show up.  So after COVID settled, we decided to host a meeting again at someone's apartment complex community space.  I was elected VP, another guy that just moved into our area and new to the hobby without a wife and kids got voted as President.  

We are struggling to get more than 4 people to show up a month.  How do we bring back homebrewing to our local county?

I'm a mead guy.  Where?

Do you have any craft breweries around you that you could meet at?  Around here, some of the brew clubs host a "learn to brew" day, which is facilitated by the brewery/tap room..  They have fliers and advertise it a month or so before the event.  It provides exposure to how to brew, and you can generate extra foot traffic by people just coming in for a cold beer, and decide to hang around and see what it's all about.  I see it as a win/win for the club, as well as the brewery, which exposes people to different beers they otherwise wouldn't try.

A lot of the breweries host brew club meetings around here..  they usually hit a different place every month.
