It's an attempt to mold public opinion for another presidential run. Separate her image from Bill, make her look like a strong woman and all that crap. People are so malleable they figure they can lure enough independents in with some alternate reality. It's the same propaganda just a different delivery.

I'm in the camp that Bill and Hillary have never had sex. She's a committed lesbian and that's how Janet Reno got hired. I think Bill wanted to live the Playboy lifestyle and he and Hillary had a mutual arrangement that would advance both their political careers. Web Hubbell is the baby daddy for Chelsea not because he had an affair with Hillary, but because he got a big payoff for being the baby daddy because the Hilldog wanted a child and Bill wasn't keen on giving her one.
