These two aren't bad stories and aren't overly silly like some of bollywood. Both based on real events.

I used to think they were trash, but they have their place.
I dated a Punjabi for awhile a few years ago and she exposed me to some of the Bollywood stuff. They reminded me of old Elvis movies in their approach and lightheartedness at times. Also, they were wholesome and I didn't realize how much of their commercial music came straight from or are incorporated into their movies. I remember watching a movie called "The 3 Idiots" and it was much funnier than I had anticipated. |
