The internet in general (especially social media) lets people search out other people who think like they do (no matter how obscure their thoughts are). This means people don't have to fit in with (or care about the opinions of) their neighbors, classmates, work associates, etc. Go back to even just the 90s where weirdos were universally treated as social outcasts and the quantity of weirdos would plummet and the few that remain would be pushed back into the shadows. Hear me out. Some people actually had parents who said shit like "Son, I will love you no matter what you are or what you want to do." And the parents actually maybe meant it. And the kid ran with it. You get enough of that unconditional shit, combined with certain amendments, tolerance movements, trying to "understand" people etc. It ain't good. |

About 13 years ago, Allen decided he was Alice and decided to wear lingerie and see through dresses everywhere. To the gas station, to the stores, everywhere. With lipstick and ear rings. So the MYOB crowd is going to champion this freak, when people take their kids into the store and get to see Allen, and his monstrous getup? Just mind your own business as your kids look upon this mess. And people do defend Allen here locally, sadly, when he is walking in a dress, down the side of a road in winter to feed his mom's horses. Living his best life they say, don't hate they say.
