We had Fall in SoCal, but not to the amount we have up here in the SF Bay Area.

I can smell it in the air. Soon, I'll be able to say I seen't it, too.

Can't wait. My favorite time of year.

I was in New Jersey a ways back and I may have to admit they have us beat in the Autumn department, but it was cold as hell too so there's that.

The color of ass in those pink pants!

On a side note... It was cooler and windy then it has been in NE florida today, and usually felt this time of the year.

They look cold, too. Need a man to warm them up.

Danville, the city where those women are walking, was recently voted the safest city in California.

I'm excited too.

Today was the first day the indoor temp was below the thermostat setting.....just one degree, but that is always a good sign!

I've had a grass fire last week and an apt fire yesterday.  All I smell is smoke!

Texas has a very short "fall" season change.

It will be 98 here next week. And then at night it will cool down to 60.

Fog coming in from the ocean plays a big role in our weather.

Worst part of living in CA was the lack of four seasons.

Ok, second worst, taxes were worse.

Ok, third worst, illegals everywhere were worse.

Ok, fourth worst, unconstitutional gun laws were worse.

Ok, Fifth worst, all the Liberals were worse.

You know what? fuck California!

There are four distinct seasons north of Santa Cruz and more so in the Sierra foothills.

I should add, four seasons minus the blistering cold and snow. It never snows here.

There's nothing worse than the locust-like behavior of leaf peepers.  Driving 20mph under the limit to peep leaves.  Stopping in the middle of the road to peep leaves.  Walking across your property to peep leaves.

I fucking hate having to wear a jacket, and I detest the mess that snow and slush make.

Yet, I am going to retire in AK.

I think I need my fucking head examined.

Best time of the year.
Unfortunately, here in Mississippi, it is still hot as fuck....in spite of the subtle changes in the foliage and the not so subtle shortening of the length of day. This September will go down as at least the 3rd hottest on record.

Fall foliage here is not as spectacular as some places, but when the weather is right.....70 degree days and 45 degree nights, cloudless, dry and sunny....there is nowhere nicer.

Fall in New England is perhaps one of the most beautiful things one can experience on this earth. In Montana we go from Green to gold in short order and it is not much to write home about. Having said that I have had my breath taken away by endless rolling wheat fields during a fall sunset here.
