Matrix when he woke up as a battery for the machines. Blew my mind, immediately bought another ticket and watched the next showing
Rogue one was amazed that everyone died |

Pretty much the whole movie; I Saw The Devil.
The Koreans make some seriously violent and psychotic movies. |

Quintin T. movie with Cheech and Chong guy. Some kind of amazing stripper scene is a cool building - then HOLY SHIT, they all turned into vampires. Never saw a preview or movie poster, so I had no F'ing idea.

View Quote Came here to post this. What a surprise ending !!! |

Quoted: Quoted: Deep Blue Sea, when the shark eats Samuel L. Jackson while he's giving his speech. Friend and I were watching it for the first time, he said, "man wouldn't it be funny if the shark came up out of the pool and ate him right now," 3 seconds later CHOMP! We about pissed ourselves laughing. Same with Seagal in Executive Decision In this particular case, the surprise was when the credits start rolling. Seagal was out so early in, the whole rest of the movie, I was expecting some kind of miraculous survival/comeback to save the day, typical Hollywood stuff. The credits started rolling and we went, "Wow... they really DID kill him off that early...." |

Final scene of Lone Star. Totally blindsided, but then the whole movie immediately made sense.

Quoted: Well, the original novella had no ending. It just… ended. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: The Mist ending. Such a brutal ending - my wife loves the book and movie, but cites to the movie as one of the most nihilistic things ever put to film, and it's totally different from the book. Yeah. It would have been awesome if they ended it like the novella, because I'd absolutely have been in for a Part II. I always hoped for a Part II of the novella somewhere down the line. |

Quoted: I didn't even know it was a remake when I saw it. Still never seen the original. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Did they change the ending from the original version? I didn't even know it was a remake when I saw it. Still never seen the original. Original foreign language versions are almost always better than the Hollywood remakes. I saw Abres los Ojos, awesome. I got excited when I heard it was getting the Hollywood treatment: Vanilla Sky sucked. That’s why I’ve never seen the remake version of Old Boy. |

Quoted: that's another good one. Went with a friend, had no idea what it was about, then suddenly a heist/kidnapping film becomes VAMPIRES! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Dusk til Dawn has a huge left turn and is worth watching if only for Selma. that's another good one. Went with a friend, had no idea what it was about, then suddenly a heist/kidnapping film becomes VAMPIRES! In my case, it was the other way around. We heard it was supposed to have vampires, but thr whole first half hour, we went, "Hey, did we walk into the wrong showing? Is there another movie currently out with Clooney and Tarantino in it? WTF?". Finally, "Aaahhh... there we go". |

No Way Out had a surprise ending for me. Kevin asking for Stoli straight should have been a clue.

Any movie with surprise buttsecks... did not see that coming...

As far as didn’t see that coming, in the TV series Big Sky, you get the feeling that the state trooper is off, then you find out he is off.
The holy shit moment comes when of the investigators gets close to discovering what the troopers is up to, and damn, I did not expect that on network TV. |

Pretty much everything that happened in this movie

View Quote I was watching Tonight Show with Jay Leno where he was interviewing Stephen Rea about the movie and told audiences it was a great show with a good twist. So I took my newly wed wife to the afternoon show filled with old people (West Texas old people) and nobody wanted to walk out of the theater because we were so embarrassed. We finally got up and slowly passed the old man with his walker. She gave me grief about that for decades. |

Quoted: Silence of the Lambs, when Buckskin Bill reaches out for Starling's hair in the basement. View Quote Silence of the Lambs actually pulls 3 moments perfectly, when most movies can’t even do one: 1. When Hannibal pulls off the guard’s face in the ambulance 2. When Crawford is raiding the wrong house and Buffalo Bill opens the door for Jodie Foster 3. When the lights go out in the basement and the NVGs turn on |

Every dude in the theater went "AAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" at the same time View Quote My wife dragged me (pun unintended…drag, i mean) to that because she was in some ridiculous film class for her BSN. Shortly into the film i leaned towards her and said—i think that’s a drag queen & she got pissed, because she figured someone told me. The hands/forearms & thyroid cartilage didn’t look feminine to me. I spoiled the “surprise.” |
