I dove sidemount all week to get reps in as I'm pretty new to it. Entries and Exits were EASY with no heavy tank way up on your back. The roads are improving, traffic was the worst I've ever seen despite being in the slow season. We stayed at Bonaire Exclusief 30. $950 for the week for a 3 bedroom place convenient to everything. But it didn't have a great breeze so it was hot. After using Dive Friends for the previous 5 trips we went with Dive Factory this time. DFB gave us cylinders with 2700psi with trash o rings last time. And they've gotten damned expensive. This time we needed 2 small gear issues addressed and they screwed one up and couldn't help with the other. We were very happy with Dive Factory. 2 of our favorite restaurants were closed (king king and Osaka) but Doner Station always pleases. Blue Garden is always a winner too. I hit a new max depth and deco time (200' and 18 minutes) I rented from All In Car Rental Bonaire for the 3rd time and will use them again next time. Nobody has an easier pick up and drop off. |

Was there as a teen. Stayed with parent’s friends relatives who worked fir Trans World Radio. 19…….7…….5?, 6? Not much there then. Wasn’t scuba qualled then but the snorkeling was fantastic. 200’? Not for me. Be safe. |
