The Scourge is a favorite talking point with the Left.  Every time gangs of druggies shoot it out or some headcase shoots a place up, it is The Scourge that is to blame.

But nowhere did I see or hear anything about gun control.  Granted, I am in Texas where the Dems were pushing the "right" to kill babies real hard.  Gun in Texas are everywhere.  

Does that mean that the electorate has gotten tired of the Left crying wolf?  Are there so many semi autos out there that blaming a gun for crime makes as much sense as blaming drunk driving on transaxles?  

Has PSA done such a good job and filling and even driving demand that it just doesn't fly anymore.

Guns are icky.

Democrats have finally figured out that gun control is a losing issue for them. Doesn't mean that they are giving up on passing new laws to ban all guns, just that they won't run on the issue.

A few years ago a family friend had a meltdown when he learned I was a gun owner and an NRA member.

He kept screeching about how the vast majority of the American public wants an AWB and I'm an extremism gun owner.

Guess not.

They've been doing that for a while.  Biden didn't mention guns during his 2020 campaign, but in office took rapid action that ended up with at least one member here getting a felony conviction (silencers, etc).  

The Dems know it's a losing campaign issue, but in office they are going to do what any tyrant would do.  Grab the guns.

This, years of losing at the Fed level, now state by state. Once they figure that out, expect that for abortion.
