Watched the first one. It was so over the top retardation didn’t even glance at the rest. Plus Vin Diesel blows.

I've never watched a single one because I could tell they were terrible just from the commercials... Same with the John Wick movies.

I do too OP. I was in 8th grade in 1999 when those movies came out. They had huge influence on my entire generation and created a lot of dudes getting into modifying their cars, with car audio being my particular passion.

Guilty pleasure. Each movie increases exponentially in ridiculousness and gloriousity .

I saw the first one in the theaters during high school.
After the movie, me (in my lowered S-10) and the other retarded teenagers were cutting donuts and doing burnouts in the parking lot. Good times. I love the first 2 and Tokyo Drift. I got into drifting in 99 before it really picked up on the states. |

I have only ever seen parts of the ones after, but I saw them skydiving in cars and just rolled my eyes. |

I was coming home from a late work night when the 1st one was in the theaters. I had a riced up Mercury Cougar with a 75 shot wet nitrous kit, wing, wheels…damn I loved that car.
The huge theater on my way home was letting out as I drove by…let’s just say it was a fun drive home, and I needed a bottle refill once the civics got on the interstate. That’s also why I now drive a Tacoma, too slow to get really stupid with |

They're alright.
Met Scott Eastwood a few years ago at the horse races in Del Mar. Nice guy, all the teen girls were googoo over him, including my niece and foster daughter. |
|
They're terrible movies but I too enjoy them being on in the background while I surf GD.
I definitely have no taste |

If it was I will never know... Though I know that sequels to almost all movies suck. I'm honestly not a big movie watcher. Last one I saw in theater was in 2001 and the last one I saw at home was in 2015 if I remember right. |

I watched Fast X on a flight home a couple of months ago. Jason Momoa had fun with that role
The first movie set me off on my first ricer phase when it came out. Fortunately it only lasted a few months After that I started making fun of it instead. Attached File I definitely don't have a model of the Toretto house in my game room. That would just be silly |

It’s completely unrealistic entertainment. They are fun movies.

Agreed. Should have ended at seven though. Them feels. I was pretty damn beat up when PW died.

They're the worst movies ever made. I should know, I've seen them all 2 or 3 times.

They are enjoyable outlandish fun.
Fast Five is peak Fast and Furious. |

Some are silly but fun, some too ridiculous.
I don't remember the number but how long was that runway? You know the one. |

This thread just goes to show how much lower IQ's go after watching mindless nonsense.

Great entertainment, I’ve re-watched them all with my kids (11/15).
We made sure to take the 911 to the theater when Fast X came out |

Quoted: Every single one of em - the whole damn franchise. Go ahead, berate me. View Quote One and three are actually solid. They're good-looking movies with great soundtracks and simple but powerful themes. 3 is literally the plot of every martial arts movie. One has some great visual storytelling. The others... lost their way. |

I can tolerate the first one. Kinda. As a car guy, I have a REALLY hard time shutting my brain off and going "It's just a movie - settle down on yer aspie shit, and enjoy it for what it is".
And to be honest, I think that's my fault, more than the director's. Still...I mostly can. Kinda. But after that first one...come on, man. I'm out. Throw me a bone. Jaysus Chroist. |

2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift came out when I was 13 and 16 years old respectively. They made a big impression on my young brain
Now R34 GTRs are finally legal this month and they are priced like exotics |
