Even longer for your children. The progression of medicine, in your lifetime, that many of us here will never see, will add many years to your life. It'll be like 1980s-2000s medicine compared to now. Trust me, you will see the changes that we 50s and 60s kids saw. But in different ways and with different risks. We Boomers grew up in an American society that knew what Socialism and Communism meant. Very few in the era of WW2, Korean, or Vietnam, were pro Socialist. We saw, daily, why that economic plan destroyed countries. Those that were for it, were a minority radical class. Today, your risk is hugely different, and it will affect every aspect of your era's progress. If the left is successful in taking over this country, all bets are off, economically, medically, socially.... You may live longer. But, I wonder in what world you will live. |

I'm 68 and I feel it. My fault though. Abused my mind and body
for years. OP I'm fookin happy for you. Best shape were 2 decades in my life. The 70s' with the 82nd Airborne and your age. I ran and ran. Loved it. Six weeks ago I got a knee replacement. Pick up my AR from the Smithy today and tomorrow I'm goin to the range. 50 yds max. 1/2" high for a solid 200 yd hit. Carry on
