Man, we're going to need a MUCH bigger mousetrap.

You know, it would not have cost THAT much more to put rebar in the walls while under construction.  Sure makes it tougher to break through the wall.

I hate thieves. I'd see them taken to the top of the building and thrown off.

Best Buy doesn't have forklifts in any of their stores.  It's all "Big Joe" powered lifting platforms that don't have forks.

Someone wanted that free pressure washer pretty bad.  Or this is a setup for a inside fencing operation.

Ah, good ole Big Joe. I had a fear of heights and that thing helped a lot with that. Nothing like being 15 feet in the air on what feels like an unstable platform.

I did a ride a long with a city LE pal and we creeped up on this asshat chipping his way in the back of a strip mall shop. I thought that we might nail him at that point, but we waited until he was inside to deliver the bad news.

I used to work in a BB.  One fine evening doing truck stock, which I hated with an insane passion,  I saw one of the warehouse guys changing a light up high on the ceiling.

He was standing on top of a boxed full sized refrigerator, on top of the Big Joe platform, with the light changing suction cup in his hands, extended at nearly full arm's reach overhead.

He got the job done, no problem.

Let's just say that he clearly has no fear of heights.  But when I saw him doing that,  my balls retracted to somewhere around my navel.

Cue Badger Nope.

Either five seconds with a forklift or about ten minutes with an 8lbs sledge.

Reminds me of the old drunkard at the grocery store I worked at when I was the "teenager on fork lift". Dumb bastard ran through the docking doors twice and walked away like it was a god damn mystery what happened. Completely trashed the forklift each time. He also demolished two sections of aisle shelving and all the products that were on them at some point. We weren't even supposed to take the forklift out onto the shop floor.

I can't imagine how much keeping him around cost the company.

It looks like it, but busting cinderblock puts debris on both sides if you don't have the proper tools. One common way to break it, is pulling.
