Me either, except i don’t feel like i’m missing anything.
And i still haven’t see Top Gun or most Tom Cruise movies, like Mission: Impossible. And i prefer to avoid anything Disney. |

I've seen them all. Used to be a Sunday evening dinner tradition with my old man. He, like many others, flipped his wig when it seemingly went dead in the very end scene.
Furio was one of my favorite characters. Nothing like a zip going to work. The Sopranos - Furio''s first Job |

I also haven't watched "The Big Lebowski" all the way through. You aren't missing anything by not viewing The Big Lebowski. Ah, yes! Too painful to finish….i can’t stand Jeff Bridges for being the entitled, know it all prick he is, so that’s likely a factor in not watching it |

The Sopranos is the GOAT.
Dexter and GoT, might be better, until the final season or two, Sopranos only fell short in the final episode. But The Sopranos started it all, without it, the others never exist. I think if you’ve never seen it, you can absolutely enjoy it, but if you watched it then, it will always hold a special place. Kinda like seeing Mickey Mantle hit it a towering home run and then limp around the bases. We can watch it now, but it won’t ever compare to seeing it in person. It’s a very well done show, with depth and superficial entertainment. I believe the final episode is disappointing because people didn’t understand it. It would take a long post to explain it all, but it’s 100% clear how it ended, despite Chase’s efforts to coverup for slips over the years. He set it up perfectly in so many different ways, granted when I watched it live I was pissed, when I rewatched the final season a year or so later, it made perfect sense. It’s my opinion it wasn’t a mafia hit, it was revenge for not letting Eugene leave which led to his suicide. I’ve never really heard this angle discussed by others, but it fits when you understand it. |

I liked it.
If you watch tv, it’s better than most of the crap on the tube. Pay $10.00 for a month of HBO max and binge it. |

It’s the best show ever made. I can’t recommend it enough. I rewatch it ever two or so years.

Quoted: Watching the real thing play out was better. View Quote I don't doubt this at all. I watched it a couple of years ago, well after The Wire, Breaking Bad, Justified, The Shield, etc, and thought it was absolutely meh. In defense of the show, I believe you miss "something" when you binge a series, especially going from season to season, as you not only remember the plot holes a lot more vividly, but you remove all the building anticipation. I probably would have enjoyed it a lot more had I watched it while it aired, and didn't have all those other series to compare it with, but I honestly would have trouble placing it in my top 7 or 8. |

One of my favorite series of all time, and one I believe still holds up.

the characters are a joke you have grandpa from the munsters with a speech impediment, a hunch back with a pompadour, and a godfather with severe anxiety attacks that make him faint, a kid that wants to be a capo or a screenplay writer he can't decide, then there is the piss poor acting...

Just started watching it again. Funny about James Gandolfini and Michael Imperioli. Both are opposites of their character (Well Gandolfini was) My buddy who is good friends with Imperioli said he is NOTHING like that but since he was in Goodfellas and Sopranos, he is type cast now.

You aren't missing anything other than the glorification of a gang of serial murdering dope-dealing, extortionists.

In the middle of season 6 now...Was Cosa Nostra really involved in such small time hijinks? We just watched the episode where Johnny Sack's lawyer broke the news to him that the feds thought he was worth 5 million. Which is kind of funny. The guy running New York had as much wealth as an accountant in his 60s who became a 401k millionaire? Lame.

I, too, have never seen an episode.
However, just last week, I did watch every single death scene from the series, in one cool video. Every Death in The Sopranos |
