| The Omega x Swatch watches seem on the surface like a good price at under $300. That seems impossible for an Omega movement to a watch rookie like me. Do they have Omega movements in them or are they just Swatch watches with an Omega logo slapped on them. |

IMO it's gateway drug for budding watch dorks. If you appreciate the history of the Speedmaster but aren't ready to drop $8k on an Omega then they're awesome and fun. yes, they're plastic, but they have their own personality. I'm thinking about one of the black moonphase now. |

The hot ticket for modders right now is to put them in real stainless cases, with a functioning bezel...steel pushers/crown ..etc ..... It apparently can be done without spending a load of cash  Destroying a $300 MoonSwatch and converting it to a metal case. And another  Destroying a Uranus!?!? A crazy mission to Uranus Moonswatch metal case mod. |
