Honestly? I'd just take the brace off my BREN 2 MS and put a stock on it, if it was suddenly legal without NFA paperwork and stamp. Other than that, I've played with full auto, and they are a pain in the butt to feed, especially with todays prices.
Somewhat related:
How much would suppressors and select fire guns drop in price if the NFA and tax stamps were abolished? Perhaps I'm a bit ignorant but some cans seem extremely expensive for what they are, and of course the latter are expensive because of the limited supply. |
I’d buy a 40mm launcher attachment and case or two of 40mm HEDP.
3 556 cans, a 9mm can, 2 magpul CTRs.
I'm going to buy all of these anyway, needing stamps is just holding up the timelines. |

The Matrix 1999 HD Movie Clip - Neo: "guns, lots of guns." |

Well I mean until R/D's caught up a belt fed would still cost like $10k. I'm sure some companies would tool up and design some belt feds for much less though.
M16's up the ass. A SAW. Cans on everything. And a belt fed 22LR of some sort
Sp5k would quickly become a mp5k.
After that and all of my ARs had DIAS’ installed, probably some sort of belt fed and a small business loan to buy ammo |
Shot enough machine guns that the allure has worn off. I already have SBRs and SBSs. Probably just suppressors. I've got them now, but cash and carry would be awesome. Maybe also add a 40mm launcher or 20mm rifle. Yeah I know, both can be had now. But I dunno why I won't jump through the hoops for one. It isn't like I haven't stamped stuff anyway.
Why the hell would anyone make a DIAS in this scenario? Get a jig and drill the third hole properly.
Have all my lowers converted to Select-fire.
Buy an M249 and M240G Buy 1 case of hand grenades and 2 cases of Claymores Buy a Rugged suppressor for every one of my Firearms. Hate Glocks, but Id buy a G18 Save for a surplus 155mm Howitzer. |
Select fire lower and suppressor for my AR. That's the obvious ones.
Then, a Mac-10. Always wanted a Mac, but a semi-only one is just pointless. |
I would still want old school SMG's.
STEN gun, Sterling, Pps43, M3 Grease gun, Reising, ppsh41, vz61, etc. |
First thing would be a FA trigger pack for a 10/22. After that probably suppressors, SBS’s, and SBR’s in that order.

Quoted: Got the idea from this thread https://www.ar15.com/forums/general/If-SCOTUS-Overturned-NFA-and-all-Forms-of-Gun-Control/5-2549903/ Not gonna happen but I'm interested in what everyone would buy. I'd get DIAS for all my ARs, suppress all the things, and buy an MP5SD View Quote |

I would really think some of the Gun Shows is going to be interesting, with some builders selling parts and some Franken-Guns for some obscene prices.. Non-original Knight Armament SR-15 with non-Ambi controls and a homemade hand guard was selling for $4100 just two days ago in GA gun show {no buyers}.. If the NFA was overturned, they would slap on a ~genuine US Space Force Door Gunner story that *this rifle* killed UBL and it has some great scenes in the movie in it and add some more $$$$..
At least I would be able to buy some older vintage guns with the overturning NFA.. MG42s, FALs, Uzi {shoot like Chuck Norris} , a Pulse rifle, and maybe a shoulder Predator gun.. |
Suppress all the things.
M3 Grease gun for nostalgia (carried one while still an M60A3 tanker) |
something with 3 shot burst. Ammo expensiive.
Belt fed 7.62x51 several of them. I have a dab of that. Well a shit pile of it. |
The first thing I’d buy? Stock in ammunition manufacturers.
After that, I’d grab a few M-16 LPKs. I can drill a fucking hole myself just fine. I’d continue my current path of suppressing everything that can be suppressed, and filling out my IR/thermal and armor setups. |
Nothing because I'm poor, but I'd probably hammer out some lightning links, buy some of those "fuel filters", and find out who has the full auto glock rear slide cover things.
No more NFA? I’d assume that DIY suppressors would be more common. With the retarded NFA process disappearing I think we see a shift to disposable cheap/DIY suppressors. No one would be interested in the high dollar “buy it for life” ones. I certainly wouldn’t be, I’ve about 10 C/D cell maglites around here that I’ve no use for.
I’d also imagine those that actually still have/use braces and haven’t said fuck the ATF already, would put stocks on their guns. |

Quoted: Edit : one other less than stellar aspect of it would be having to now worry about home invasions with MGs. A rare Wish sear is one thing, but every door kicked in with 60-90 rounds flying in the first 3-5 seconds is terrifying. View Quote |

Cans.
I would buy cans. It is insane that suppressors are NFA. The don't silence the weapon at all but they do make it a little be safer for the ears of the shooter and is polite to those in the surrounding communities. |
M240.
I would even have trouble getting that bitch into a safe at this point, but I could give a fuck. It could sit on the dining room table for everyone to look at. Kharn |
