I'll go if I can bring an AR, a sidearm, lots of ammo, thermals and nvg and there's at least 6 of us and I'll never be alone.
|
|
Sure, why not?
I don't believe in paranormal stuff, so it wouldn't bother me one bit. I've spent thousands of nights in the woods, many times all alone, and only a handful of times did I ever get weirded out. |
|
I offered to come overnight camp to see some Bigfoot activity for myself and was told it wasn’t the right time of the year (September-October) so I did an archive search when we could still do that to find the thread where the same poster had claimed previously that those months were the best time of the year because people were offering to come camp in the thread he had going that was in April and May and he was claiming those months weren’t the right time of the year and it would be better to wait till fall.

That is because you can not be an expert on a subject that does not exist. And why are you polluting GD with this and your other bullshit thread? Wouldn't a bunch of video cameras pretty much guarantee that nobody sees anything?

When I was younger and got to drunk. I've woke up next to a few dogwomen. Does that count

I'm absolutely in. Have 45-70 trapper, night vision and Woodford Reserve.

No fucking way am I going into the woods, at night, with guns, being handled by ghost hunters, without always being in the back behind everyone else.
Someone decides to jump out and yell booger man on some dude tweaked out of his brain catches a Mozambique drill. People die with shit like this. |

Sound like an invitation to a furry convention, I'll pass.
Seriously... (Well maybe slightly more seriously) I've spent a lot of time in the woods at night, even when I was a kid, doesn't bother me. But, it's not so much that I don't believe in the unseen world as I believe that if I leave it alone it's going to leave me alone. It's sort of an understanding I have with whatever unholy supernatural forces are hanging around at a 90 degree angle to reality. They are only real when you start thinking they are real. As a side note, most cameras don't believe in the unseen world which is why they can, at best, only take really blurry photographs of all those things that aren't really there. So, yea, I'll pass. |
|
I've camped where the were bad bears roaming around, been chased by a buffalo while riding a motorcycle and camping where there was both a bigfoot sighting and a murder (not at the same time) so yeah, dogman really wouldn't keep me from sleeping.

Quoted: Quoted: Weren't we going to do an ARFCOM Expedition to Skinwalker last year? I could afford to go then but not now. Also I would need to pick up some hardcast .44 and without night vision would probably die before shooting any. ?? Where at? IIRC a Vermont arfcommer gave a troubling tale of things on a local mountain. Yeah I found it Could you post or send me a link or a tile of the thread? The search function isn`t real helpful. |

One of them was lights moving around on the side of a mountain where someone couldn't get to without the OP knowing. And the other thread was something (or somethings) white moving impossibly fast at the edge of their property. Shrieking loudly too, maybe? I don't remember the outcome of either one. Did they turn into safe threads? |
