ETA Dad had STR on just about everything. I had to pull up the 35 I inherited from him to see if it had them. It doesn’t.

No shit. Why would you want a fucking Chicom over at least a Colt, if not something like a KAC?

SVD Dragunov, or a M110. Yeah, the SVD isn't that accurate, but I don't think there is a more beautiful semi auto rifle.

I’ve got a couple Colts, and they’re good rifles. But Uncle Sam, specifically GHW Bush, says I can’t have this one. Therefore, I want it.

@CLICKBANGBANG

A guy in Corpus listed that exact rifle on on Texas Gun Trader last week. Said he needed to sell it quick due to poor health and the price was SMOKING. His ads on TGT and Accurate Reloading didn't stay up long. It was either fraud or somebody got the deal of the year. If it had been a .470 I would have made a run at it.

Make my dream rifle a Westley Richards droplock double. .470 or .500, I'm not picky.

An SVD, didn't even have to give it a second of thought.

That is my grail gun. Had a chance to pick up a Tiger for cheap back in the late 90s/early 2000s and didn't grab it...totally regret it.

I would purchase one tomorrow if they were around $1500ish for the full kit but the prices today are just insane. I remember getting Shotgun News and seeing the NDM86s for $2000 at CDNN...and now even the Chinese copies are 4X that much.

Anyone know how much an Ismash made SVD costs in Russia? I know you can pull them up on their website but they don't list pricing.

Has there been any news about Wolf bringing in 9x39? I've seen one or two places selling it at like a buck per round, but nothing like what they talked about at SHOT this year.

Did the sanctions hit their ammo supplier?

Saw a video of a lady who brought one of those to a gun buy back! She was very lucky there was a LEO there who knew what it was and pulled her aside for a little counseling session. IIRC LEO asked her about it and she stated it belonged to her deceased husband and she did not know anymore about it. Turns out her husband had a stamp for it which she found and sold it for a nice chunk of change.
