| So I am bugged on Maelle. I am lvl 48 in the monolith hoping to fight the paintress soon. The top 3 skills on her screen are blocked over with locks even with me having 10 skill points to use. I have given up using her as my main dps driver and made Lune my Dps and buff generator. I use Maelle as burn support for Lune and shield breaking. |

I bought an ASUS Ally X. Game runs pretty good on it using lossless scaling. Parry and dodge timing is definitely a little different. |

I just picked this up after watching Asmongold play it this past week. I'm about 2-hours in and I'm liking it, but I'm EXTREMELY bad at parry mechanics. I come from a mainly JRPG, MMORPG background. I think once I master this parry system, I might retry Souls games, as they're basically unplayable for me. |

That’s super unfortunate. Did you try DDU and reinstalling drivers? Try reinstalling the game? It’s definitely something on your end. The last time I had issues with a game crashing, it was actually the GPU itself was dying. Had to RMA it to EVGA. I finished the main story last night, but still have a few side things to do. I did beat the hardest boss in the game. 67 million hit with the build video I posted up. Going to finish up a few things and start NG+ here next week. Clocked in 50 hours so far. |

Updated Windows, ICUE, checked Samsung Magician for status (I was at the most current), did a clean re-install of my GPU drivers and re-installed the game. I also capped FPS at 120 and turned it to Medium graphics settings. Still getting crashing within 3 minutes of loading in. I tried loading up Space Marine:2 and it crashed loading the shaders. Nothing worked for me. I'm sure it's my GPU. It's been nothing but trouble with new games and I'm swearing off AMD after this. I can't afford a new GPU at the moment, especially since this is the old flagship 7900XTX and only a year-and-a-half old. Click To View Spoiler |

So I've been messing with my computer all morning running benchmarks, tests and re-downloading and installing everything I can think of. Summary in spoiler. My wife's PC with 13600k and 3060ti runs it perfectly fine. |

Sometimes it doesn't want to click the right buttons or at the correct time. I just unlocked traveling over water, so I went back and cleared all the earlier areas. My goal is to start farming all of the side content before hitting the last area. The game doesn't seem to be confusing at all, though. I've been able to follow along just fine. It's the mechanics that are beating me up. 33.5 hours played. It's been a while since I put this much time into a game. Last one was FF7: Rebirth and I think I like this better. ETA: I'm level 52 on my main party members and 47 on my backup ones. I know a couple of you watch Asmongold. You see he built his party to wipe all the trash mobs with just shooting? It's hilarious and his chat calls it the 'Merica build lol. He gets something like 30 shots per turn. |

I finished the game yesterday; I think this is the GOTY. I don't see anything on the horizon that can compete with it. That said, it isn't a perfect game. My criticisms are mostly story related. Non-spoiler review: The story is compelling. Gameplay is phenomenal - legendary, even. You should play this game. Start to finish without significant end-game side-questing took 37hrs. I wasn't wild about it at the start because there is so much about the mechanics they don't really explain but once I figured out how Luminas work I really started being hooked. I can now access the Monolith but I'm just dicking around leveling up my less played characters before tackling it. What is your recommended minimum level for the Monolith? Oh yeah, playing on a PC using keyboard and only had one crash and that was a while ago. |

Once you figure it out, you'll feel stupid. It's actually really easy, but poorly explained. You learn luminas from equipped pictos. Your lumina number is how many points you have to "buy" the learned pictos (henceforth called luminas) and equip them to the character. To access the menu to equip luminas, you go into your character inventory and click on pictos or luminas and that will open the menu. If you are on the picto equipping menu, you'll see the button to press for the lumina menu on the right (on PC it's the "C" button). Once there, scroll through your learned luminas on the left and click them to equip them. Again, to learn more luminas, equip a picto and win a few battles with that picto equipped to learn it. The light bar around a picto is the experience bar for the picto. Once it's full, the picto will change from a gray symbol to a colored symbol. The colors are unimportant, but they each represent OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE and SUPPORT pictos/luminas. |

Just started playing this. let me preface by saying my preferred games are action/adventure/fps like last of us, CoD, God of War, Ghosts of Tsushima etc. I don't have much experience in turned based rpg's until I recently played the FF7 remasters. im barely into this game and the visuals, the voice acting, the fucking original score everything is so over the top incredible. Bummed I waited a few months to play this. |
