I'm not convinced that conception is the bright line any more than I'm convinced that it's not a baby until it's physically outside the mother. In my opinion, any discussion of the issue that doesn't revolve around whether or not you are murdering a baby is counterproductive (or evil) and any policy that allows murdering babies is evil. I don't hold myself as the arbiter of where the bright line of humanity starts, but there is no compromise, there is nothing that will change my mind that murdering babies is the worst kind of wrong. To hear someone say, "well, I'll allow it as long as I get what I want" is merely adjacent to actually wanting to murder babies. It is disgusting. ETA: hope the image was added after I posted this. In Any case, I would never advise unlawful activity, but I'd understand. My response was more along the lines of how to have the fewest babies murdered. Which path results in having the fewest babies murdered? Absolute stand that results in losing the argument and having the people who want the maximum number of babies murdered taking control, or conceding that you can't save them all and winning the argument, therefore saving at least some that would otherwise have been murdered. I put the image up when I first uploaded that post. Here's another image from awhile ago that still seems appropriate. Attached File |
