Still waiting for the recruiting pamphlet from BU using AOC as an example of the high-quality, comprehensive, factual and useful education and BA program the Economics Dept. can offer. I think I've got a long wait. Every time she utters something economically non-nonsensical, I'm not sure if the Econ. staff cringe, or more likely cheer (at least among themselves).

In a related note, I've got an idea to starve out the liberal arts echo chambers on campus across the country. Do to them what the NEA did to Maplethorpe. Effective immediately, the Dept. of Education will only provide student loans and/or grants to students pursuing (and completing) degree programs in demand in the workforce. Software engineer (insert 'learn to code' joke here), medicine, machinist, heavy equipment operator, welder (vocational funding applies too). If you want a degree in economics or French Neo-Classical Underwater Basketweaving, you can still pursue those interests. This isn't censorship. But until demand for soggy French baskets picks WAY up, it's not in the public interest to fund your 4+ year party degree and indoctrination. Liberal arts departments live on the Gov't teat, and without that source of state income would wither. And with that colleges could get back to teaching useful knowledge and skills, and get out of the brainwashing and progressive wildlife preserve businesses they're currently in.
