So far, I've ve found Germino(classic) and MGL(modern take) I want a U.S. manufacturer with quality components... Who am I missing? |

I have 3 of them. The 20 Watt & 50 Watters are early production models. They have been updated this past year with the more modern "Purple" circuits. I also have the 100 Watt that is a high gain beast! I would say the most versatile is going to be the 50 watter. Nails everything from plexi style tones up to modded 80's style JMP/JCM800 stuff.    |

I dont know why my photos are not showing up. I've posted photos here before with no issue. Yah, I am a fan. I'm a bit of a amp fanatic/snob I have a ton of vintage amps from the 1950s-1980s. Nothing more modern than the 1980 JMP that I ended up selling because the MGLs crush! Its also convenient being less than an hour away from Marks Guitar Loft & being able to test them out. If you scroll down to the Orange MGL100 on the checkerboard cab, thats my amp & cab that I had custom configured. I wanted to go for a late 70's JMP look. | The other guitarist in my band has one of the Synergy setups and I saw they just released the JMP module. He doesn't have a nice poweramp for it (he just got the dual preamp version) so we haven't played with it yet but my buddy has a 5881 loaded Marshall 9100 that we may borrow just to hear it. |

To me, they bridge the gap between EL34s and 6L6s. I've been trying to decide between the SYN20-IR or SYN50; I wish they made a SYN50-IR... From what I understand, the new Synergy/Marshall JMP module is 'JMP Plexi', not 'JMP Master Volume'. I'll probably get into Synergy, regardless of what I decide for a 2204. It seems like a lot of fun. |

I love those 9100s. Real monsters for any rack mount setup. Always wanted a 9100 but the closest I got was a Billy Gibbons setup with a Valvestate Pro 120/120 and JMP-1. Killer combo and easy to see why Billy loves them so much. Sold the JMP-1 since I don't really play it much anymore but I still have the Valvestate Pro. |
