Quick question, I had some funds in my After-tax account I forgot about and did a in plan conversion to my plans Roth 403b. I had roughly $4300 gains on the after-tax that I ended up converting. How do I report that when I file my taxes in a couple of months? Just trying to plan ahead for a possible tax bill due to the increased AGI |

Using LLM's, (Grok and ChatGPT) and prompt engineering telling the systems they were tax experts, they came to the same exact conclusions. Conclusion, you will be paying ordinary income tax rate on the $4,300, make sure you fill out proper line items in your 1040. Attached File Attached File |
