Warm color temperature LED's inside and a little whiter in the fixtures for the deck/porch.

Normal house lighting here after sunset would typically use 700-900w of incandescent power.  Same lighting loads now uses 95-120w with LED's

Also that is a signifigant reduction for people that have a 2000 to 3000w backup power source, especially for keeping loads lower to account for furnace or refrig/freezer compressor startups, without having to worry about how many light are burning.  Not to mention increased run time.

Also at 900w vs 120w useage at 0.11 per kWh for 4 hours a day x 365 is a yearly cost of $150 vs $19 ish.

LOL, too blue?

Ummmm....welcome to 2024.
I see a few people must not be hip to Edison bulbs, especially ones with Amberglass.  Stay under 2700K with Edison bulbs and you will think that you are in 1890.

I sleep to LED's and I actually enjoy my LED patio string lights.

Some of my LED's are TOO soft and I use them for Halloween only.

These are in my office right now:
2100K Amber glass

Along with a desk lamp with a bulb like this (smoked globe)

These are 2000K lights that are outside until November 1st.  My outdoor lights are on a dimmer, so when I dim the lights, it looks pretty creep as they barely glow.

^Just noticed that mine are spiral, not straight.

With the exception of the garage, the rest of the house has either 2700K or 3000K soft white LED bulbs (I use 3000k bulbs for outdoors)

Edit - Just noticed mine were spiral, not straight.

I bought a bunch when the only real alternative were CFL's due to LED's being so expensive.

Now that reasonably priced LED's exist I'm probably just going to throw away the 250+ incandescent bulbs rather than store them forever.

I have a ‘hoard’ of incandescent bulbs . First reason ad mentioned above, plus a cheap heater under the engine blocks in an unheated shop.

Second reason is a quantity of 300 bulbs for five vintage outdoor fixtures.

Third is for working around a couple of variable speed rotating machinery, so I won’t get an atop/strobe effect at multiples of 60 hertz from the overhead fluorescent bulbs in the shop.

Every bulb possible inside and out of the house are LED for energy efficiency, and reduce load on 50 yo wiring. Dimmable and color selection on LEDs have gotten better.

Had a room with two ceiling lights that took 1400 watts of incandescent bulbs. Now new fixtures and better light with 90 watts of energy needed.

We had a pump house too with an above the ground pump, had it at the cabin for 46 years. We keep incandescents in it too for the heat. When it first started that incandescents were going away I stocked up on the just for the pump house.

Then 4 years ago, we redone the whole water system at the cabin, put in a deep well pump. No more heat needed. I put LED’s in the cabin too. Now I have a stock of light bulbs that take up spaced in the cabinet. Have a box full at the house that take up space in the garage. Went all LED here 3 years ago.

If you are going to use "myriad" like the boss you are, you should know that there is no "of" after myriad. It's just myriad then the noun. That is a fact.

Because anyone with properly functioning vision knows that LED lights are UGLY no matter what the manufacturer/contractor/decorator/salesman tries to push.

LED's are about as visually appealing as the interior lighting of a strip mall Chinese restaurant.
