I sleep in my PJ ghillie suit in a hide about 75 yards from the house on overwatch. I'll be wondering why my 12 gauge trip flares didn't go off & wake me before they made it to the house.

I have a Phalanx CIWS on the front porch but if they come in the back porch my cats already try and murder me, God help to poor sole who comes in at night.

The one time I actually had to defend my home, I grabbed my S&W .357 magnum and when the intruders saw it in my hand they hauled ass and ran away! I had a shot but didn't take it because I didn't feel like dealing with police in any aftermath. I don't know how the man feels about shooting a fleeing intruder in the back.
