Many of them all over the world.  It’s just the RBMK type that were so dangerous, relatively speaking.  Also, recall that it wasn’t the earthquake that wrecked Fukushima - it was the tidal wave, and Siberia is plenty seismically active.  TBH, it’s not the crazy high risk as much as the sheer lack of need + added risk.

IMO, this falls in the “Massively cool, but not really needed, so what were you thinking?” Category.

It was the diesel generators failing that killed Fukushima. The tidal wave got theses and basically killed the plant.

I always thought that those barrels carried in Soviet tanks were fuel tanks, in fact they were БДШ-5 / BDSH-5 smoke screen generators.

Stills from a newly published Russian MoD clip showing a Su-25 armed with a pair of S-25-O heavy FFARs.
IIRC, this is the first MoD clip published since the beginning of the war that intentionally shows these rockets; however, they can also be seen in a number of unofficial pics.

Russian Telegram channels are reporting that a standard munition will now be manufactured by defense industry in large quantities for FPV drones. Standardizing munition was one of the biggest issues faced by Russian FPV pilots and volunteers.

Could that thing still fire like that?

Would it be effective at all?

I know WW2 saw the Germans have a strange love affair with short barreled tank cannons.

Similar red stripes are used by Iran to mark Toophan (copy BGM-71 TOW) and Saeghe (copy M47 Dragon) thermobaric missiles.

At the moment, it is not known for certain whether this is a consequence of direct deliveries from Iran for the RF Armed Forces, or a case of "retrophying" these missiles from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which got there already from those captured by the NATO fleet Iranian ships with shipments of weapons for Yemen."
