Russia has not exactly been all that light footed with the killing of civi's either. However I do believe Israel has a more realistic possibility of both surviving overall as well as making significant gains and at some point we ought to be making choices because we can't fund and help everyone. Frankly, I'm not exactly leaping to send money to Israel either. It is all money we do not have. |

Israel is doing a good job currently of building the support necessary to take over gaza.
The population supported Hamas, if Israel removes the population from gaza it frees up their limited resources to focus on other border areas. If I were in charge I would say that the actions of the weekend and their support of a terrorist regime have caused the forfeit of any land claim to gaza. Israel is taking over and no current occupant will be allowed to stay. |
