Senior U.S. Defense Officials told the New York Times today that several Dozen U.S. Special Forces Commandos are now on the Ground in Israel to work alongside the F.B.I, State Department and other U.S. Hostage-Recovery Specialists to assist the Israel Defense Force in Rescuing upwards of 200 American and other Foreign Nationals who are being held as Hostages by Hamas in the Gaza Strip; the Commandos have not been Assigned to Combat Roles but will help the IDF with a number of things including Planning, Logistics, and Negotiations. |
