I don't listen to anything that purports to be country music that has a digital click, drum, or clap track. Well written song with garbage production. Also, they ripped off Beat It's guitar tracks.

Lol, anything for a buck. Jason Aldean isn't trying to make a social statement to bolster the right's influence and values, he's trying to make money.

View Quote Most of the news is focused on the current controversy, so you have to dig for the older stuff. Here is one reference, though: https://www.newsweek.com/old-mass-shootings-article-resurfaces-amid-jason-aldean-gun-controversy-1813660 "It's too easy to get guns, first and foremost," he said. "When you can walk in somewhere and you can get one in five minutes, do a background check that takes five minutes, like, how in-depth is that background check?" And another: https://www.countryliving.com/life/entertainment/a19574910/jason-aldean-gun-control-las-vegas-shooting/ “I’m not a politician. I’m not trying to push my own agenda. If I say that I believe this, I’m gonna piss off half of the people, and if I say I believe that, I’m gonna piss off the other half,” he said. “I have my opinions, but what the hell do I know? I think everybody needs to sit down, stop pushing their own agendas, and figure out what will make it safer. When people can’t go to a damn movie or a concert and not worry about somebody shooting the place up, there’s a flaw in the system.” He definitely went in for more gun control, I remember it well. What pissed me off even more was his attempt to do it without "doing it," as you see above. ("Imma not wade into but shit's not right" bullshit) The irony of the current backlash is very sweet. He's pandering, looking to a make a buck off people, while trying to avoid being honest about beliefs which are contrary to those held by many of those people. In other words, he's just another fake Nashwood glitter bitch. |

Funny part of it - I lived that video. BLM said they were going to stage a protest in a smaller town near me (presumably to tear down a statue). 300ish people (not to mention the national guard and a shit ton of police) showed up in full battle rattle to say fuck no. BLM did not show up. It was kind of a Fuck around and Find Out (that did not happen) - but since it happened in Gonzles Texas - Come and Take it is not inappropriate.
Then 1/6 happened and showing up unarmed at a peaceful protest became an act of terrorism. |

I don't give a fuck if it was Aldean or the record label that had it pulled...Jason Aldean is a bitch. He's anti-gun and an opportunist, he is not on our side, so fuck him.

I read that Fox requested he pulled the footage, since they allegedly own it. Thats an interesting take but I'd be shocked that the record label wouldnt have gotten prior permission. Maybe post release fox went full cuck? Either way always had a feeling aldean was a little bitch. What makes it even worse is all his social media BS him and his wife put out leading up to the final pull. |
