I have a 2022 JL Rubicon. The tailgate hinges have been upgraded and it carries a 35”. It has started squeaking though and it sounds like it’s the weatherstripping as it’s a rubber-sounding squeak. Anyone have this issue and solved it? I tried some silicone spray which seemed to help but didn’t alleviate the issue altogether. Pic for fun:  " />

I had a JKUR with squeaky rear gate seals. It also had a heavy duty spare holder.This stuff helped tremendously Attached File |

Upgraded hinges or not, have you ever come off an obstacle and landed on you spare tire? That is a 100% way to bend your tailgate...not the hinge area that people pay way too much to have fancy shit. My sqeakes and rattles, wife's doesnt...my tailgate is bent like a diamond due to hitting tire |
