People are star struck when they hear from their favorite movie star. People often confuse their on-screen persona with their off-screen persona. Their opinion should carry no more weight than you or I. Industry has actually taken advantage of that fact, remember the late-Robert Young who played a older doctor on "Marcus Welby MD?" Isn’t this the guy who was against mandatory vaccination? How can claim that vaccines are dangerous (which the government must be complicit in covering up, if true) and then turn around and announce your support for total governmental takeover of everything? What a dolt.
