I think there was certainly some voting shenanigans going on when he “won”. That said, this past year I have been awestruck by the number of people I have met who voted for him and think he is doing a fine job. Either due to TDS or the fact they are so far left that it would not matter who ran they will always and forever vote D because they hate conservatives so much. I spend half of my life in MT and in general my area is solidly conservative. The other half of the year I am on the road from coast to coast. It is truly shocking when I leave my little microcosm of sanity and find that many (most?) folks from the coasts and big cities love the democrat party. Sadly I have little hope that he won’t get re-elected if he is still able to run. We are screwed.

This place is an echo chamber. I have met and know many people that voted for him and just as many despise him. From what I've seen is the majority of people really aren't that tuned into politics and just vote for the person on "their team" because they hate the other party. Sometimes I hear talking points that are decades old and are no longer relevant. I talked to a lady in her mid 60's this year that mentioned that she always voted for democrats because when she was a young child her father always did, and he always said bad things about republicans. You're not going to change that person's mind. It's made up and she doesn't even have to think about it.
