My mom laid me out multiple times with a freaking tennis racket. One time I tried to prison proof the impact by stuffing my tightie whities with socks. That plan did not work out like I thought it would |

We should cross-reference this thread with the "Do you have relationship issues with your parents?" thread from a few years ago.
I don't understand the mentality that if you were to go start hitting a stranger on the ass with a (spoon, belt, paddle, whatever), you'd probably get charged with assault and battery. But if you do that to your own young child, it's "totally ok, because they deserved it!".

My moms go to was wood yard sticks and hot wheel track.
She really got pissed when I hid all that. |

My mom had a saying. Go ahead and run you have to sleep sometime. AND SHE MEANT IT!
When we went on long trips she would put the wooden spoon in the sun visor so we could see it. Dad was a belt guy. I deserved what I got. They were fair and at times showed mercy when I didn't deserve it. Man I miss them.

Buddy got caught sneaking back in the house by his wife through a window. He was half way in, drunk as shit, and his wife was standing there with a big METAL spoon. She bashed him over the head with the curved side of the spoon a dozen times. Gives me chills thinking about it.

I quickly learned that it was far less painful to let mom catch me and administer the punishment…because if I didn’t, she would tell dad when he got home. The good news? She would spend up begging him to stop because I (she) had had enough. |
