General specs i'm aiming for: 1440p, 300hz, 350~400nits, hdr400, 1ms or less response time. Koorui and sansui seem to be super popular abroad, cheap (relatively speaking) but of course that means qc can be and is spotty. Looking to pick one or the other up (nearly identical specs but leaning sansui due to higher brightness) off amazon (also for return ease). Also looking at the msi mag q2750qpf x30 at bestbuy with nearly identical specs for $90 more than either of the above, but i can get it in person and if something's wrong, drive it right back and get another. Anyone have experiences, thoughts or opinions on the above? Edit to add, current monitor is a G2724D, love it but i can can get well over 165fps in the games i play. |

I remember Sansui making decent midrange audio equipment in the 70's and 80's. Not sure if they're putting their name on the big chino-conglomo brand now, or if they have their own stuff. Zing monitors (CRT) were good back in the day (90's), too. I'd try a Sansui if I needed one and it fit the specs I was looking for . I currently have two 27" monitors, an Acer 1440p, and an LG 1080p. I might upgrade the Acer to a larger MSI eventually, running out of space on this corner desk with like 8 computers on/under it. |

I'd like to apologize to you guys for completely forgetting about this thread. After posting it and not getting any answers, i reposted it in the gaming sub. My 4k AOC monitor crapped out a few months ago, I just ordered this one. My old 4k monitor is a 27 inch and the past couple of years with my 62 year old eyes text was getting tougher to read at the default scaling. It has decent reviews and rating but I take that with a grain of salt. I like the specs and since its Amazon if its crap I can return it.  I have been running three Asus 1080p monitors so with 4k I will still have more real estate with this one than the three current monitors. |
