No wallet made with cowhide, regardless of grain or grade, is the best.

Billy Kirk and Louis Vuitton get my vote.  Neither have RFID blocking though.

Dango Dapper D03.

I tried the minimalist wallets and didn’t like the sandwich concept. These are half minimalist half traditional in the best way I think.

The Dapper is US made from leather and billet aluminum. It only holds 5 cards in the card tray, but it has detents to keep them put. It’s slick and will get you some looks when you just slide cards out with a light click. You can have more cards behind your ID or on the outside of the wallet.

It has no cash pocket. Any cash you carry has to be folded in 4, and it only holds about 6 bills folded up that way on each side.

I gave up on carrying anything but an emergency $100 and had way too many cards I don’t use so I’m glad I consolidated. Best wallet ever. Only thing is the nylon strap is worthless, but I knew that going in.

Canvas, or black or brown leather. They’ve been running a special on them for a whopping $40. Normally $80 I believe.

My daughter gave me a plain leather Timberland wallet for christmas 20 years ago this year. I don't know what she paid then but they are ~$20 now. Other than it being very worn and soft it's still together and I still carry it every day.

Coach water buffalo calfskin is the best wallet leather I've ever found. Strong and thin and handles occasionally getting wet. If I needed a new one, I'd look on eBay or Etsy for an older style that fits your needs. I'm not a fan of the newer visible logo.

I’ve had a Coach money clip for probably 15-16 years and aside from a tiny bit of fraying on one corner and the money clip’s exposed metal, it’s still in perfect shape. And nice patina too.

It is one of the toughest leathers in existence and it doesn't stretch.

Serious question... those of you citing 14 years, 20 years, etc.... have your previous wallets fallen apart that quick? I don't thunk I've ever used the same wallet that long, but I'd be a bit upset of any of them actually fell apart on me. I think I used my last one at least 10 years, but never thought it's not falling apart was that big of a deal.

My first wallet disintegrated after 16 years. My next one only lasted 8. My mother had a wallet custom made for me which she claims should go for the long haul. We will see.

Eta: I was looking for a company who would put some lettering on a wallet for me. A coworker who took on a guy with a gun will be receiving a more subtle bad mother fucker wallet from .Holtz for christmas.

I took an ARFCOM'ers advice a couple months ago and got a front pocket wallet by Rogue Industries. This is the Horeen Bison leather model...

My front pocket wallets have all lasted for a really long time. I usually change them just because I wanted to try something else, not because they wore out.

I’ve seen bifolds with too much stuff wearing out though.

I only use 6 cards but I assume it could hold more.

Honestly I could probably get rid of a couple cards because most places have touchless capabilities via phone or smartwatch.

I like those, but I just wish he would make a single card slot on the backside where you could put your ID or main CC.
