Very nice. Grabber Blue is a fantastic color.

Ive been putting together this little canyon sled. Ive got her just about right. She rotates real well on corners, is very sure footed, lets loose slowly and predictably. Mods are KW coilovers, sway bars, control arms, brakes, and premium fluids.

Nice first post! I love the 86 and always will (I had a 1st gen before I got my Supra). They're a fantastic platform.

It's a Tiguan SE R line black.  We checked out the Atlas but she preferred this.  The Atlas was quite a bit bigger than expected, I was pretty surprised at it's size.  Felt considerably bigger than our JGC.  The Tiguan is considered a compact crossover I think but it's the largest in the segment.  Tons of storage room.

I drove it but there aren't really paces to put it through - it's slow lol.  The awd is nice and it handles well for what it is.

I preferred the Atlas (except for the terrible shiny and reflective piano black console that picks up every finger print and glares light into your face).  But this is hers to drive so i just got what she wanted.

Sadly, the Challenger is now gone so I'll be keeping an eye out for other options over the next year or two.

Could be, I hope they do.  And, frankly, if I miss it that much I'll just go out and buy another.  Or a hellcat or a GT350 or whatever.

In the meantime, I'll drop the decent residual check into VOO or something similar and keep an eye on the landscape.

Amazing track day this weekend - PR’d my best time at ORP with a 1:52 clockwise. My fairly stock 992 911S (in the far back) was the fastest of this amazing bunch. A few 991 GT3RS’s, built 918 Cayman S, Cayman GTS, and my buddies built 997 S next to me….we were the only 2 of about 20 cars this weekend that didn’t arrive on a trailer, and I was the only one without a cage and 4-points.

New car day - 2025 BMW Z4 M40i with a manual transmission.  Frozen Green Metallic with the magma (?) Interior...

I have some matte paint-specific ceramic coating coming on Monday, I'll probably get it covered in PPF this fall but I need to check with the shop I've used in the past.

Very cool color. You should get the paint protection done as soon as you can. I'd imagine those matte colors are a bitch to keep proper.

Yeah I need to call them on Monday.  We are busy the next 2 weeks, and then taking off on vacation.  Have to find a time to run it by.

Fortunately it doesn't have to be driven too much, will probably avoid the freeway until I have something on it.

On a side note, it shows dust like crazy.  Just sitting in my driveway today it already had a thick coat of dust.

That's the wife's little 550hp grocery getter...

Took it to work today, my wife wanted the truck to run our dog around.  Got a full XPEL matte wrap done so I feel a bit easier driving it on the freeway.  Still only has about 100 miles on it, have a ways to go on the break-in.

Thanks, it is a freaking dust magnet.  Maybe it's the nature of matte paint, maybe it's because my truck is always dirty in comparison, but holy shit.

We shuffled some cars recently.  Sold the Challenger, the GTI, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.  Got the wife a new Tiguan and for me a 2023 low mileage RAM 1500 Big Horn.

Short-term additions:  Banks power monster, auto stop eliminator, AMP Research running boards, Spray-liner, and new fob with gate release.  Then maybe wheels, tires, Bilsteins.

Truck is missing a couple things I'd like.  I like a sunroof in my rides but the big WTF is no passive entry?! I keep walking up to just open it then have to fish into my pocket for the fob.  My FCA cars over 10 years old had that feature.  I might actually go through the bother of installing it, that's how much it bugs me.

The trucks these days do ride nice, super soft.  It's the last truck I'll probably ever have. It'll be an SUV of some sort when I retire.

Nope. But made it 250k miles with no breakdowns so I restored it to like new condition so I could drive it another 250k. Not fast at all but reliable.
