I've seen the movie a couple of times but just watched it for pure entertainment and didn't really pay attention to much.
It's on TV tonight and I'm watching it again but noticing some of the details. When he first starts on his search and ends up in a basement tattoo shop there was an older guy who noticed his father's or FIL's FBI badge that he was flashing around was expired. Then Nobody flashes some cash around and the old dude that caught the fake badge see's a tattoo on Nobody's wrist and promptly unasses the place. Whats the significance of that tatt? Did I miss something or is it expounded on later? Also any other comments regarding the movie are welcome.

It’s the worst hand you can be dealt in Texas Hold’em.
Odds are against you, off suit, can’t do a straight, pretty easy to be beat out by higher cards dealt to other players. Another words, dude can be in a shit situation and have no fear of the odds stacked against him. ETA: As in ‘No fucks given’ type of attitude in a bad situation. |

Have it on dvd. Never cared for Oldenkirk but he nailed this role. I've probably watched Nobody more than almost any other movie (except Diehard). Story really good, good flow and action. Music soundtrack (didn't get any credit in the extra features) was genius. The Russians were actually played by real Russians. Christopher Lloyd was a bonus. Being a former adrenaline junkie I could relate to that slight smile he got on his face when the Russians got on the bus. As with most action movies there are a few times you just have suspend disbelief, relax and enjoy.

He explained a little bit of what he did in the movie, usually while the bad guys are dying/dead. I don't usually care for Odenkirk but I liked this movie. Hopefully the next one will be as good.
Now if a sequel should be made, it should Sicario 3.
