He kept fighting until the end, but cancer still won. I'm going to miss you dude. For sure my oldest friend on Arfcom, and I've known him for at least 15-16 years in person, and it all started with 'hey, have you ever shot a machine gun before?' He kept that attitude up until his last range trip a month ago, letting people shoot his NFA toys and his ammo, just getting enjoyment out of people trying new stuff. When Mike was pretty sick, I picked up a lot of smoked salmon to make my salmon dip recipe he loved. He never got to eat that salmon, so I made about a gallon of dip and am giving it out as presents. Considering he loved to go out eating with people and sharing food, I think he’d like that. |
