We just got invited to a wedding but there's a couple of problems: 1) It's school vacation week and we have already made plans. 2) It's in Punta del Este, Uruguay  Wife, of course, still wants to figure out a way to go. |

Fuck it. we're foing. Found more affordable flights going to Buenos Aires (Argentina) instead of Montevideo (Uruguay), fly to Dallas then redeye to Buenos Aries, spend a couple of days there then fly (1hr) or ferry (2.5hrs) across the river (where the Graf Spee pocket battleship was scuttled in WW2) to Punta del Este (Uruguay), 4 days for the wedding and exploring, then back to Argentina for the flights home. Adds a continent and 2 countries to my visited list. |

| Spent 11 hours so far today in the garage. Three hours working on the Miata, and the rest doing an oil change and brakes on our CX. Right rear caliper piston was a royal PITA to retract, need to keep an eye on it to see if I might need to buy a new caliper. |
